The "Future of Sake": A Proprietary Rice

"Sakemirai" (literally meaning Sake Future) is a rare rice variety independently developed by Mr. Tatsugoro Takagi, the president of Takagi Shuzo. It took 18 years to perfect this crossbreed of Miyamanishiki and Yama-sake No. 4. Unlike other breweries that buy rice, this bottle expresses the true soul of Juyondai—crafted from the soil up.
