The aroma is reminiscent of blueberries, plums, and liqueur-soaked American cherries. The rich nuances of toast and vanilla are accompanied by subtle hints of violet flowers, licorice, and black pepper spices. Overall, it is transparent and youthful, yet offers a variety of aromas.

Moderate fruitiness of blueberries and plums. Although it has a lot of tannins, it is finely textured and smooth, and has a good balance with a pleasant acidity. It has a juicy taste and can be enjoyed slightly chilled.

Manufacturing method and cultivation method

About the cultivation method

Grown mainly on gravel and clay soils, but also on limestone soils. Vines aged 12-30 years. Trained cordon royal. Mechanically harvested at night in the cool to prevent oxidation.

About the manufacturing process

After destemming, the grapes are fermented with selected yeast at a temperature of 28°C or less for 5 days. The grapes are macerated for 8 to 25 days at a temperature of 25°C or less with daily stirring. The grapes are then pneumatically pressed and blended with the free-run juice. The grapes are aged in 100% American oak.
